a year agoPSA to paddlers: They do have a canoe/kayak launch, but it doesn't look like it's been used in years and consists of very steep, narrow, rotting steps that are dicey to maneuver. We did manage to get a canoe and four kayaks down to launch there but I wouldn't recommend it. Probably better to launch from the bridge at Highway 52 (although I have no personal experience there).

Edited 4 years agoGreat place to launch kayaks! They charge $5 to park if you're kayaking or canoeing and want to leaving a car there. Be aware their launch is pretty much all mud but the rivers low right by there so you can walk into the river then get in your kayak or canoe. But the best part is: you can bring any alcoholic drink that you order from in bar out on the river!!! You can't beat that!!!

Edited 7 years agoNice bar to have a gathering,,has outdoor deck overlooking the beautiful Fox river. Live bands on the weekend and this place comes alive,,very cool place
